EDP students who have completed and passed all six (6) core modules will be:

· Invited to attend the NMMU Business School’s annual Certification & Diploma Ceremony

· Receive their Certificate at the Ceremony – 2013 date still to be confirmed however it usually takes place in May.

Please note: Any Student who is unable to attend the Ceremony will receive his/her Certificate per registered mail after the event.

EDP students who have completed and passed the four (4) elective stand-alone modules will receive 4 separate certificates respectively.

Kindly note as the electives are stand-alone and not linked to a qualification, certificates will be posted per registered mail to students.

All learners must log in 2 weeks prior to a contact session and use the platform to access sources etc up to the stage when the summative assignment has to be submitted.  These modules carry a number of credits based on the number of notional hours learners spend on the module.  The notional hours consist of the number of contact hours, the hours spent on the formative and summative assignment and the hours spent on the e-platform in discussions, searches, reading etc.  In order to gain the credits we must have proof that learners have spent time on the system and this is currently not the case as most learners use the platform merely as a post office.
